About the Walking Group
Calling all Walkers!
If you love walking and would like to meet new people, then why not join our friendly monthly walking group? We explore the beautiful Sussex countryside and coast. The walks usually take place on the third Saturday of the month at different locations across East Sussex. Each walk is led by a group volunteer. The average walk is between 3-5 hours and includes a picnic or pub stop and we walk at a comfortable pace.
Some of our walks have included East Dean, Birling Gap, Shepham Farm, Barcombe Mills, Michelham Priory, Abbots Wood, Herstmonceux Castle, Litlington, Firle, Arlington Reservoir, Seven Sisters Country Park, Friston Forest, Berwick, Wilmington, Butts Brow & Jevington, to name but a few!
You will need to make your own way to the meeting point. Everyone is welcome to join the walking group and you are also welcome to bring your children along too. Each walk costs £3 which covers the cost of organising and coordinating the monthly walks. Numbers are limited so please let us know if you would like to join any of the Eden Blue walks.
