Hatha Yoga For All

Hatha Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on improving strength, flexibility and breathing to promote physical and mental well-being. This Yoga class is made up of a series of hatha yoga asanas designed to increase your strength, flexibility, stamina, mobility and breathing. 


Each class finishes with a guided relaxation that will leave you feeling calm, refreshed and fully restored. Why not try our regular Monday evening class or sign up for the new Saturday morning Yoga class, starting in the New Year?

Pilates is an effective way to strengthen your muscles, improve your posture, flatten your ab's and reshape your body. Pilates can also help to reduce the symptoms of lower back pain, sciatica and other physical issues. It is a fantastic all-round exercise programme that will make you leaner, stronger and more flexible.


At Eden Blue, our Pilates classes are taught in a way to suit all levels of ability, from beginner through to intermediate level.

Mind, Body & Spirit Yoga

Our Mind, Body & Spirit Yoga classes are designed to bring a sense of peace and calm to the mind while strengthening the body. This class is made up of a series of hatha yoga postures designed to increase your flexibility, stamina, mobility, strength and breathing. Yoga can help to reduce the impact of chronic illness and pain.


Each class finishes with a ten minute guided relaxation that will leave you feeling calm and refreshed.

Total Barre Pilates

Thursday 5.40pm-6.40pm

Teacher: Celine

Intensity: Moderate


Total Barre™ Pilates combines elements of ballet, pilates, cardio and strength training for a dynamic and varied workout that will help to tone, sculpt and reshape your body. The class includes barre work, small weights and mat-based Pilates exercises.

The class will lengthen your limbs, enhance your posture, firm your glutes, tighten your waistline and help you to de-stress. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements.

Restorative Yoga for Well-being

This Restorative Yoga class is an inclusive and friendly Yoga class that is open to all. It includes elements of restorative yoga. If you are looking for a Yoga class that will help you to become more centred, relaxed and calm while stretching, toning and lengthening the body, then this Yoga class is perfect for you.

Zumba

Zumba is an exciting, exhilarating and uplifting dance-fitness workout that helps you burn calories, lose weight, build cardio strength and tone up! This fun-packed class will brighten your spirits and leave you feeling energised.


Zumba is a great fat-burning workout and is a brilliant way to maintain your fitness level. You don't need to be able to dance and the class is suitable for all ages, shapes and sizes. No previous experience is required. In each class you will burn between 500-1000 calories per hour so it is a great form of exercise as part of a weight loss programme.

Wu Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a gentle, graceful and flowing form of exercise / martial art that is known to have numerous benefits.
 

The benefits of Tai Chi include physical balance and stability, increased mobility in the joints of the body, improved ability to relax and release stress and tensions and a greater awareness of the body as a system. Tai Chi will help you to become more grounded, centred and poised and can alleviate chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia, diabetes, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis and more.

Mindful Me Meditation Course

Saturday 10am-11.30am

Cost: £40 - 5 week course


Have you dipped into mindfulness or tried a workshop, course or taster? Wondering how to make it a meaningful part of daily life? 


This block of 5 classes is designed to get you creating a mindfulness practice of your own to positively impact your home/work life and relationships. You will explore a variety of meditation styles using the breath, gentle movement, sound and imagery. The course will explore meditation and mindfulness techniques in more depth, giving you the tools to integrate mindfulness practice into your everyday life.


The course is suitable for mixed group beginners/more experienced who want to practice group meditation.

Clubbercise® is a dance fitness exercise programme that uses glow sticks to club anthems from 90′s classics to the latest chart hits taught in a darkened room with disco lights. Clubbercise® is a fusion of dance, toning and combat moves with high/low impact options for all fitness levels. You will burn between 500-1000 calories in one class. Each session is like a fun night out with your mates, but with health and fitness benefits! If you love music and enjoy dancing, then this class is for you!
