Join Kate in welcoming the coming Spring in this energising and uplifting yoga workshop. During our two and a half hours together we will shake off the long Winter, months clearing out the deadwood and letting go what we no longer need. The arrival of Spring brings with it a sense of renewal, a reawakening, a sense of rebirth.  We will explore these themes through gentle yoga postures, pranayama (breath awareness), dhyana (meditation) and relaxation.  This workshop is open to all levels, including complete beginners.  You are welcome to stay after the session and join Kate for a free tea or coffee and biscuits. We shall be going through the Chakras, working to include mantra, mudra and laughter including laughing through the Chakras!


As we are all aware the Sun’s energy can have an incredible effect on us, our moods, energy levels, etc. So today will be working to open the chakras, particularly Anahata, the fire centre and get that inner sun glowing and energy flowing! Using gentle asana, sun salutations, mantra and mudras, powerful pranayama and a Chakra Meditation to access this powerful energy scource

This Yin yoga workshop is 2.5 hours of rest and relaxation. You will be guided through a meditation and a gentle floor based Yin yoga sequence.  This session will explore stillness, gentle movement and leave us feeling renewed and refreshed. Yin yoga encourages healthy energy to flow freely through our bodies and helps us come into a state of balance. We will finish with a long guided relaxation. This workshop is open to everyone. You don’t need to have done yoga before to get the benefits of this. Tea and treats at the end!

A relaxing, immersive workshop to calm the mind

This gentle Yoga Workshop is an opportunity to put some time aside for yourself, to focus on letting go and to strengthen the connection of the body and mind. We will use this time to calm our thoughts, stretch and relax our bodies and restore our sense of well-being.


The Yoga Workshop will begin with a practice to centre the body and mind and connect to our breath. We will use yoga asanas to release tension, concentrating on postures that open our chest and heart centre and cultivate a sense of becoming more open, on a physical, mental and emotional level. The workshop will close with a long relaxation.
